We have attended a number of call outs this week where printers, routers etc have lost power. Upon inspection simply unplugging and re-plugging the mains plug has fixed the problem. We will now be asking all customers to preform this action when there is a power problem. During the week we have also been working on the two current website projects along with a number of PC and laptop repairs.

Reconditioning your old PC can give it a new lease of life which is good for your wallet and the environment. PCT has reconditioned a number of computers this week along with data recovery of video files from a SD card. Virus / Spyware removal is something we deal with daily, and we would like to stress the importance when browsing the internet to be careful of not downloading and installing software especially of the fake anti-virus variety. A new scam which has recently be started is that of a fake emails from companies house stating that company tax payments have been underpaid, always check the website link on such emails to see if they are real as in most cases they are fakes.

This week we have been busy mainly with custom built computers, we provided 3 custom built computers which includes transferring of data (pictures, work, emails, favourites etc) from the old computer to the new one, delivering and setting up the new computers. All customers are also provided with the latest office, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-malware, firewall, CD/DVD burning software, and more besides totally free of any cost. We also provide 7 days free remote assistance to iron out any problems with the new computers.

We have submitted a website proposal for a leading language school in wales, the website will comprise of many cutting edge features such as an internal social network, multiple group access levels and much more. We have also been working on newsletter management (including newsletter design) for the british iraqi friendship society. This week has also seen a large increase in the number of laptop repairs ranging from damaged graphic chips to faulty power jacks however all problem were fixed resulting in happy customers!

PCT is happy to announce that we have been asked by QP Wines (The UK's largest Chilean Wine supplier) to provide them with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to get their website on the first page of Google.This week we've also been designing and printing a A4 Folder design for a well known language school. We've also been busy with usual pc repairs and also supplying and setting up a new laptop and wireless network.

This has been a particularly busy week and has included setting up a wireless network in a large property in Bishipston along with replacing a new laptop screen and servicing another. We were also able to put our great graphic design skills to the test and produce a design to be used on a A4 Folder. Website design has been the main priority this week, as we are happy to announce that City School of Languages has chosen us to re-design their existing website to bring up to date with a fresh design and advanced features such as multi-lingual (English, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Italian, French, and Spanish), e-commerce facility to allow courses to be booked on-line, user management, newsletter facility and on-line testing. We plan to have the new site live within the next couple of weeks. We have also repaired a number of laptop power jacks which had become faulty.

This week the weather's been pretty awful as I'm sure you've all noticed! That hasn't dampened our spirits though at PCT where we've been busy getting proposals done to tender for local council jobs along with the usual jobs such as a laptop motherboard replacement and wireless broadband installation in gorseinon to name but a few. We're planning to get a new client case study for our recent launch in to providing CRM software designed especially for small to medium businesses with a very low price tag of £0, yes that is not a mis-print. Charity Auction at the BBA We attended the launch of the first Big Business Association event which we thoroughly enjoyed. We put in the winning bid for the charity auction for a rugby ball signed by the current Scarlet's Rugby Team, the money raised went to the MIND foundation. To continue with the charity theme we also took part in the Gower Bike Ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, the weather turned out well and a great day was had by all.
